Wiltshire College
Wiltshire College and Apple A Day have been running a joint programme to support local candidates in upskilling and finding work in local education settings.
Wiltshire Job Centres
Employer Advisors are the direct link between local and county-wide employers, and unemployed people seeking work opportunities, plus training providers, broadening skillsets in readiness for the labour market requirements. Apple A Day works with local centres to provide advice, training, and work opportunities.
Wiltshire and Swindon Sport - WASP
The partnership builds on the backing Apple a Day have given to the School Games over recent years and will help support schools to take part in the extensive competition programme. This year WASP’s have many competitions that Primary and Secondary Schools can take part in running alongside local festivals inspired by the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Steve Boocock WASP CEO said “The Apple a Day team share our vision for the School Games and want to see as many schools and young people taking part in the opportunities the school sport provides. We have seen more young people take part in the Games as competitors, leaders and officials in recent years but want this to go further. Working with Apple a Day will help us achieve this.”
West Wiltshire Dance Festival
The annual dance festival is the flagship event, which brings together schools from across West Wiltshire in a celebration of dance. The dance pieces include routines developed as part of curriculum PE lessons and after school clubs, run by enthusiastic teachers and extracurricular coaches and support staff.

Apple A Day have sponsored this event for some years now and are proud to support it as the event grows and develops.
Young Ambassadors Conference
A two-part event to bring together and train the next generation of Sports Ambassadors.

Young Ambassadors look to develop pupils who have the ability to inspire and influence young people, they should be a role model and have the ability to lead other young people. Back at school they should promote PE and school sport, promote the positive values of sport and increase participation. Apple A Day believe that promoting active lifestyles and promoting participation in activities is key in encouraging local pupils to live healthy lives.
